Introduction

Each year, we celebrate Computer Science Education Week by welcoming our community to spend an hour learning how to code. Coding helps all learners grow as computational thinkers, build creative solution and artistic endeavors, and empower multicultural collaboration.

Select an activity that matches your interest and experience.

BEGINNER: These activities are great for early readers and first-time coders. Each is designed with basic, block-based coding with visual instructions.

EXPERIENCED: Good for older elementary and early middle school. Each uses block-based coding with several steps requiring reading instructions.

ADVANCED: Good for middle level learners. Activities that use a text-based programming language and large-scale interface.
